Giles: I'm sure we're all perfectly safe. Dawn: We're safe. Right. And Spike built a robot Buffy to play checkers with. Tara: It sounded convincing when I thought it.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

It's still raining here. But about an hour and a half west it's already switched over to snow. We're expecting to see snow around here after 7 or 8.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I went to the gym and ran 4 miles in 63 minutes. I think I'll survive the race next weekend. But just barely.

It's cold but sunny and gorgeous here. My sympathies to those that are getting snowpocalypsed.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I have to go grocery shopping. Don't wanna.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Oh, yeah. Duh. THAT'S why the line at TJs was so long.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

It's ... 88 degrees here. Even I find that somewhat unseemly.

information libertarian

Two inches of heavy wet snow now, and still coming down, and our neighbor's tree dropped a big limb just now while the kids were out in our back yard - under our 4 huge old creaky pecans. We made them come in.

I am nearly 100% certain there will be no school tomorrow - the building I work in closed at 3 today.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

No snow here yet, but it looks like we're supposed to get 5-8 inches tonight.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It's ... 88 degrees here. Even I find that somewhat unseemly.

Can I have your weather?

Our wings are not tired.

We were promised thunder storms, but so far only a couple drops. Bad drought conditions at the moment so it would be really really nice to have that rain.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

It's still snowing here, flea, so you have more to come. Even aside from the snow, some trees are bound to go with the ground so wet. (We've had so much drought that old trees have lost a lot of their root systems, so whenever the ground gets very wet, they fall over.) At least the reservoirs should be benefiting from this.
