I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm Bert at work—someone has to be. A couple of my coworkers questioned my INTP classification because I go to meetings on time. And they said it like it was an impressive accomplishment. *sigh* I love my job, but sometimes the same laid-back atmosphere that means I can wear my birkies every day makes me crazy when it comes to scheduling issues.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I watched most of Goodfellas last night, glad for once that it was on the History Channel so presumably there were a lot of violent shots cut and some bad language bleeped, though I spent a lot of time looking away.

I was reading The Graveyard Book, at least during commercial breaks (or waiting for them to be over) so it was a kind of enjoyable schizophrenia.

Lurkers are like posting board ninjas!

Hi board!

This made me laugh and I just have to post this somewhere, if only to stop wondering. Whedonesque would likely delete it so there: mysterious tweet.

Back to lurking...

Heh, Restless. That made me smile without offending.

Two days ago here, it was 60 and I had windows open. It is now 27, and it's been snowing lightly for an hour+. I guess that means it's March....

Oh do i hear you. And weather.com is saying there could be up to 10 inches of snow total by end of day tomorrow. Meh. I have tomorrow off as a vacation day, so even if it's snow day at work (we already had one this year), I think I still have to use the vacation hours. Also, I feel like ass today, so I'm missing a b-day party I wanted to go to. Well played March. Well played.

Didn't we have a "fuck March" thing going a year or two ago?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

of course it's cold and gonna snow. I have an appt at noon, so I have to leave the house. bleaaargh. At least that is all I have to do today. I will stop for groceries on the way back from the appt. Note to self pack grocery bags.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Woke up this morning and the cars were covered in snow. It isn't snowing now. Luckily we don't have to go too far today. (The Animal Welfare league where we got our cats is having an open house. It's just the next town over)

Less than 12 hours into the month? Yikes. Surely it'll get better. How about just "fuck the weekend"?

Poor March. Everybody loves June, with its tequila and sunshine.

hip deep in pie

We are getting all that weather as freezing rain or rain. Yesterday I went outside in just a fleece and sneakers fro the first time since December. Now it's cold again.
