Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

It was more which one was more controlling rather than which one was which.

How is that even a question?

Now tagless for your comfort.

I'm watching The Two Towers on TNT. Rohirrim are streaming into Helms Deep.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How is that even a question?

I'm saying.

I accidently "lost" the rest of Annie Lennox's song, and now I'm back for Bryan Adams. What did I do to deserve this? Other than pause TiVo and accidentally change the channel, I mean.

The damned device gets you too used to the idea of not missing a minute that when I do, I feel wronged. Also when I can't skip.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How is that even a question?

I said I was feeling unthinky!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Wow. Taylor Swift on SNL sounds almost nothing like Taylor Swift on the radio.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm Bert at work—someone has to be. A couple of my coworkers questioned my INTP classification because I go to meetings on time. And they said it like it was an impressive accomplishment. *sigh* I love my job, but sometimes the same laid-back atmosphere that means I can wear my birkies every day makes me crazy when it comes to scheduling issues.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I watched most of Goodfellas last night, glad for once that it was on the History Channel so presumably there were a lot of violent shots cut and some bad language bleeped, though I spent a lot of time looking away.

I was reading The Graveyard Book, at least during commercial breaks (or waiting for them to be over) so it was a kind of enjoyable schizophrenia.

Lurkers are like posting board ninjas!

Hi board!

This made me laugh and I just have to post this somewhere, if only to stop wondering. Whedonesque would likely delete it so there: mysterious tweet.

Back to lurking...

Heh, Restless. That made me smile without offending.

Two days ago here, it was 60 and I had windows open. It is now 27, and it's been snowing lightly for an hour+. I guess that means it's March....
