Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

wondered if he did his own singing

Hee.

But, you know, when he was in the Funky Bunch I still wondered that.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I read that he did *some* of the singing--but I don't know how much.

The film's rock band (Steel Dragon) is sort of loosely based on Judas Priest. Rob Halford left the group with a lot of personal conflict (he is gay) and was replaced with a tribute band singer.

Wikipedia says that Walberg did NOT do his own singing.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

How could this man be gay?

Similarly, when Steve Perry left Journey they hired the Filipino lead singer of a Journey tribute band.

The line was very blurry.

I'm willing to bet Steve Perry took it worse than Rob Halford.

Wikipedia says that Walberg did NOT do his own singing.

Oh, HA!! That's funny.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Blarg. Slammed awake at 3-something due to Hec's father calling my cell and leaving an incomprehensible mumbly underwater message that, bizarrely, ended in a barrage of South Miami-local voice ads and PSAs that sounded like they were being piped in from a doctor's office hold system. Hec felt that he likely forgot which way the 3 hours' difference went and that he's fine, but I'm still full of late night phone call adrenaline, almost two hours later.

I have to get up for work in an hour and change. Double blarg.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Aims, we had a move a few years ago and let me second (third? fourth?) the numbered sticker recommendations. Another thing our moving company did that helped was they provided big plastic bins, with wheels, that you could fill up with stuff and then slap your number on. No hunting for boxes, no disposing of boxes afterwards, they had a catch so they wouldn't pop open, and they were big enough to hold a lot of stuff.
