Sooner or later, you're gonna want it. And the second — the second — that happens, you know I'll be there. I'll slip in, have myself a real good day.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ahhhh. The joy of order.

We're currently in the middle of packing for our move on Tuesday. The joy, I am not feeling it.

Compassionately intolerant

There is also back pain and paper cuts and such. But the joy...okay...not everybody's cup-o-kink. I get that.

Good luck on the move in any case!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I want to know who swiped my motivation today. It started out well enough, I got up reasonably early for a Saturday and finished the illustration I intended to do (which I'm quite happy with) before lunch. But I have gotten jack squat done since then... blew off grocery shopping when someone cut me off in the turn lane, wimped out on going to see the Oscar-nominated shorts program, ate leftovers rather than go out for dinner, and have made no headway on another drawing I wanted to do before tomorrow.

I blame it on eating salads two days in a row.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Wasn't me. I haven't seen any motivation since winter began.

hip deep in pie

Wasn't me. I haven't seen any motivation since winter began.

Me either. I think my motivation flew south.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

New word I learned today that I wish I hadn't: humanure.

Swouncing

Skipping yet-again-but-still-sigh to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Laura's birthday.

Happy birthday, Laura! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Happy Birthday, Laura!

Matt, I'm sorry I stole your motivation. I needed it to start clearing a space in the stuff explosion I'm currently calling an apartment. If it helps, I suspect your motivation will be heading back to you sometime today.

Our wings are not tired.

Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Anyone that loves clutter removal is welcome to a free Florida vacation. My friends used to tease me about the level of perfect order in my house, and then there was kids, and a business to run, and things got so out of control.

The days when I moved more often helped too. There is nothing like moving to get things in order. Oh well, not moving anytime soon. I've been thinking of using the 15 minutes a day method of clearing the debris field I call home, but it likely will only last 2 days.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

srsly. I love finding boxes and free packing supplies - I am huge with the scavenging - and I love packing up a house. I also love unpacking, but tire of it faster.

There's money to be from this, msbelle. I swear I'd pay you and your travel expenses to come pack up my apartment when I had to move.
