I'm all up in the law now, but damn it feels good to get my violence on.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Have people seen this? Holy F@#$ It's a Star Trek Corset

Heh. When I was in college I bought a Start Trek insignia patch (original series) at a con and sewed it on a blue neglige.

I feel equal parts pride and shame for that act.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

That's a nice corset.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I feel equal parts pride and shame for that act.

I think you should feel lots of pride and zero shame for that.

The status is NOT quo.

Ah, Sam the Eagle. He's the original Steven Colbert!

Oh duh, the Etsy page for that corset has more photos: Star Trek Inspired Corset

The corset/mini-skirt/black nylons/black boots look really hot on the woman wearing them.

edit to add the boots. Because, duh!

Check out the Trek corset woman's other stuff. Including stuff from Sweeney Todd, Moulin Rouge and Alice in Wonderland.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Sam the Eagle was made to look like Senator Sam, who may have been a gruff old bird, but he shared few viewpoints with his namesake.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Went to the Jonathan Coulton/ Paul & Storm show last night at the Birchmere. Lots of fun, as usual. (Never been RickRolled during a concert before...)

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ah, Sam the Eagle. He's the original Steven Colbert!

It's funny cause it's true.

Doubly funny when you note that Colbert used to flash a picture of Guy Smiley when he was talking about Mitt Romney.

Thrive to spite them

I've been watching S1 of The Muppet Show from netflix and it's great! The dvds have this great "Muppet Morsel" feature you can turn on and it has a lot of interesting facts and tidbits about the guest stars, Muppets, the people behind the Muppets and other stuff.

Plus the dvds have have scenes that were shown in the UK but no in the US, including Rowlf singing Coddleston Pie.
