Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

In some ways he's the Marley of cats.

Heh,I did a double take because I have a cat named Marley!

The yard looks so classy right now, let me tell ya. ND's nailed plywood along the top to try to contain him, but now he's found another way out. I swear the cat is smarter than either of us.

Oh, man. Oh, Byron. Way to overcompensate, dude!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Hey Plei, if you're around, do you have a recipe for apricot preserves? I'm just starting to make jams and jellies, and Kristen wants apricot.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, Plei, I have another question. I know you saw a lot of problems in the Leverage episode that dealt with horse racing. What were they?

And Brenda, I was wrong about that line appearing everywhere. At least I missed it in the above ep. Just most of them I can remember.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

So I'm at a hotel right now, since there hasn't been any power in my house since Friday, since one of the landlords apparently owes the electric company $1000. The responsible landlord has put me in the hotel until Monday, and there's expectation that the power will be put back on on Tuesday. It's about 40 degrees out, and my house has little to no insulation. Or electricity. I just threw out everything that was in fridge while I was over there.

Also, I was supposed to go to a friend's play, but I've rescheduled (and will now have to buy a ticket, darn it) because my driver's side window is now broken. I drove a friend to the airport this morning and there was a checkpoint, so I rolled down my windown at the officer's gesture, and then after they passed us through, I was rolling my window up and there was a horrible grinding glass sound and now the window won't go up anymore and I'm afraid there's a rock or something stuck in there breaking stuff. That's what it sounds like. So now I have to call the mechanic, since we're still expecting rain every single day.

And then on top of that I still can't get this ram I bought from Fry's to work, and my computer keeps crashing every twenty minutes or so.

This sucks so bad.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Aw Alibelle, what a bad weekend for you! I am so glad you will be out of that crazy scene and into a nice place soon. BTW, I have some bookshelves for you if you need them.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What a mess, Alibelle!

The status is NOT quo.

That sucks, Alibelle. I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Yikes Alibelle. Did you get the cute apt you linked to before?

ION - mac and I went to an open house around the corner from us. A 2 BR maybe a little larger than ours, but better used space. Asking $355K with $800 maintenance. Makes me think I could easily get that for our place.

Loki probably has all sorts of dysfunctional tales from his previous home.

This weekend, I've cleaned, shopped, got a pedicure and did my taxes. IN PEN. Taxes go to work for copying...WAIT! My printer doubles as a copier! Woohoo! But they'll still go to work to be mailed.
