If Franny can keep her temp down, tomorrow am we can go up to HMB. Otherwise my weekend will be spent caring for sick kids and cleaning house. And craving sushi.
Of course now her nose is running too. sigh. I think this weekend is doomed.
PLUS our phone is not working properly! The phone thinks the line is busy but actually it's dead. The phone has been driving me nutty lately. Grrr.
tonight: friends over for dinner and too much wine. So today is also cleaning.
SAT, SUN, MON : no real plans except to read Newbery books. and possible music at a coffee house Sat.
I have no plans for the weekend. I should probably clean my house. I have to make my friend Wonder Woman pajamas. Maybe I should get started on that.
How are you making Wonder Woman pajamas?? I would like some of those!!
Oh, Calli just reminded me I got a gift cert for a massage for my birthday. As much as I want one NOW - I should wait until I feel better and am not so snotty. Blah.
Wonder Woman pajamas? Aroooo?

I found some Wonder Woman printed flannelette on a clearance table at my local fabric store for $1.99/metre, so I bought 7 metres. My friend is WW obsessed, so I knew I had to make them for her. She doesn't know about them, so it will be a total surprise.
Weekend:
Work and cleaning, though neither are as desperate as they were last weekend.
Friend in town from DC, yay! Maybe I'll try and get her to go see Coraline, in addition to the usual wining and dining when she comes to town. Also will be avoiding any invites to toddler birthday parties, which are usually the thing that drag her here.
A co-worker here at my full-time job works part-time at the local Jo-Ann Fabrics, and she was telling me that their sales are way up--no surprise, with this economy. I did ask her if they had more people signing up for their classes, but she didn't know for sure. I'm guessing more people are interested in learning to sew than were ten years ago.
Tomorrow: Birthday party for my niece and nephew.
Tonight: I just found out my niece wants an UglyDoll, so I have to run to Kid Robot and get one.
Sunday: Nothing
Monday: Nothing²!
