I'm very sorry if she tipped off anyone about your cunningly concealed herd of cows.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why so rage-making, people?? Make things work!!

Hey, is the guy from Rachel Getting Married the guy from Television on the Radio?

It is a very good thing I'm leaving the country in July. Because right about then, I should be completely LOSING MY FUCKING MIND.

This is just the dress rehearsal. Or as I've declared "We're doing the performance test we've never been able to do in test in operations!" Which is sadly true.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Did anyone post this, and I missed it? Oldest prehistoric human hairs discovered...in hyena poop.

Scientists figure the hairs are from humans who lived roughly 195,000 to 257,000 years ago; before this discovery, the oldest human hairs found were from 9,000 years ago.

But the scientists can't say if the humans were moist and delicious, or tough and stringy. Hyena chow!

There's also an interesting factoid in the article about "hyena latrines" -- apparently only one hyena used a "latrine" area. Not, like, one at a time; one per latrine area. Ever. Kind of nifty.

Litterboxes like at my house! Well, Loki is trying to switch things up....but the others prefer their own latrines.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But the scientists can't say if the humans were moist and delicious, or tough and stringy.

I think they can say, however, that the hyenas were good with it either way.

Not javachik

It makes me cringe. What a horrible way to die. Thank goodness for shock.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

God, I hate hyenas.

all living hyena species are hunters and scavengers.[16] They have extremely strong jaws in relation to their body size and have a very powerful digestive system with highly acidic fluids, making them capable of eating and digesting their entire prey, including skin, teeth, horns and bones. Hair and hooves are usually regurgitated

dcp, you aren't living dangerously enough! But take better pictures.

"Forever Young" in a pepsi commercial offends me. It's sacrosanct, damnit.
