See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Also, because it's so awful it deserves its own non-snarky post, I don't even think I can read that article about the PA judges without getting teary with rage. But, in short, what Strega and Teppy said.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I don't know about this whole evolution thing.

Not whether or not it happened. It did of course. I just don't think it was such a good idea. What were those primitive proto-cells thinking?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What were those primitive proto-cells thinking?

"Some day there will be Puppy Cam"?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthdays Maria and Kristen!

I had a horrible day and just tried to get my cat to do a shared osytocin release (like the article Emily posted), but she would rather yowl in the kitchen like I have never fed her ever (even though there is food in her bowl!)

I got so angry at the theatre today, I swear I was about to have a rage blackout. I've typed and deleted several posts detailing my rage, but they were all incoherant. Suffice it to say that we (costumes) are following a calendar that is not made by us, but by the production manager and artistic director thatsays we are having fittings this weekend, and then they are surprised when we need the actors during rehearsal time (which is something like 10 am - 7 pm). Um, you made the schedule, so schedule around us-- especially when you booked the designer's travel! And don't try to make me seem unreasonable that we want to do fittings when the designer is here!

Oh-- and to top it all off, my student stitcher can't work for awhile because he woke up with a mouth full of blood, went to the emergency room, and now is pumped full of antibiotics, hasn't slept, and is having emergency dental surgery tomorrow!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aieeeee!

That's...ick. Poor guy.

I'm still annoyed by today. We can't profile the system accurately. We've known that for years. It's what is driving the latest plan for a redesign. But it isn't something that we can do anything about now. We're optimizing what we have NOW, and it has its limits, and woah, we've reached them.

Also? The kitten is sitting on me, farting.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Why so rage-making, people?? Make things work!!

Hey, is the guy from Rachel Getting Married the guy from Television on the Radio?

It is a very good thing I'm leaving the country in July. Because right about then, I should be completely LOSING MY FUCKING MIND.

This is just the dress rehearsal. Or as I've declared "We're doing the performance test we've never been able to do in test in operations!" Which is sadly true.
