You know what's the worst? Having to identify the racial background of all of your coworkers, especially when you don't all work in the same place. But even when you do! Like, do I put someone who I know is biracial in black or white? (We decided on other.) What about the woman who is Guayanese and possibly of South Asian descent, but we don't really know? (We decided on other for that one, too.)
Note: It's easier for us to come up with possibly faulty percentages ourselves than to ask HR, who may or may not ever answer.
