Jeebus. I'm in stasis. I sat down at the table with my three pile of project papework and had not one good idea, nor impulse to actually do anything. Thank dog you all are here or I'd have been completely paralyzed with the not caring.

I find out how I did in a month. The test took five hours and I was writing or filling in little circles for the entire time. I iz tired.
I can imagine!
I have to wait a week to see if the English Internship is funded. If not, I start cramming to take the Science tests. The sad thing is that with this shitty economy the State may not fund any Internships this year, so I may end up literally sadder-but-wiser at the end of all this.
Oh, that would be a huge bummer.
I also need to do laundry here. grocery shopping I do need, but I think I can put it off.
I'm supervising Abby making her Reese's peanut butter cup brownies again. This time she's doing it all by herself with my only participation being unwrapping the PB cups.
These are for Grandpa's birthday, so it's way important that she do it all by herself.
Luckily, I can supervise from my desk chair.
Scrappy, if that happens and you still want to teach, keep in mind that private schools don't require a license. I know that isn't your first choice, but let me know if you want info about that process if you go that route. I can hook you up with two good placement agencies and tell you about pretty much every independent school in LA county, including one that's a fee miles from your house.
Regardless, congrats on getting through the test! Those things are brutal.
Skipping and skimming to say that I have a Flea (+ bonus Dillo) at my place! Yayz!
I'm pretty sure I was given the Evil Eye by a crow in the TJ's parking lot.
The sofa is much safer.
Thank Kristin! I may try that--I have four years at a private school with a good rep (Buckingham Browne & Nichols) under my belt, so it's definitely something to consider.
We are in West Virginia. For some reasont hey have to reset the train's engine computer. We were coasting! But now it's running.
Scrappy, I hope you did (at least) as well as you needed to on your exam today, and that you're treating yourself to some well-deserving post test fun, but regardless - I'm sure every school would be proud of having you as a teacher.
tommy, good-traveling (um, is that English? Anyway) vibes!
