Punishingly Intricate

but the feed or whatever is completely effed up.

Oh mine was too! I thought it might be because there was a huge super short storm right when it got all messed up.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We made a ton of Valentines over the past week. In our house the hearts come in whatever colors are found in the construction paper pack: red, pink, black, white, blue, green, yellow, orange, even brown.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

This is both intrusive and hilarious, like that Lonely Island song: how Sarkozy wooed Carla Bruni. [link]

From bt's link, Sarkozy on Bruni's relationship with Mick Jagger:

“How could you have stayed eight years with a man who has such ridiculous calves?”

How random and hilarious.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

how Sarkozy wooed Carla Bruni. [link]

That's the first time I've seen reference to his nickname in the English press.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Did amyone watch Criminal minds? How much creepier does it get after Morgan's "she's saying they were dead" (in terms of the sex)?

I think I may need to stop and watch it tomorrow.

eta: Okay, never mind. This is just much too gross to keep watching tonight. or maybe ever.

Still, there was a quick NB sighting. That was nice.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

This is nice: the Vatican has stated that the theory of evolution is fully compatible with Christian faith, and rejected 'intelligent design' as acceptable science or theology.

Wow. I never thought I'd be impressed by something Ratzinger has done. Good on ya, Pontiff.

hip deep in pie

OMG, I have only been at work for an hour and I can't wait to get home.

Also, via Facebook I found out my sister in law was in town yesterday. I am glad she didn't call, because my house is at DefCon 4 level of messiness. But now we're having freezing rain and I am worried she is going to be stuck in town and she will call me tonight. I haven't done dishes since Sunday, and there is crap everywhere, and she keeps her house incredibly clean.
