I was like...so kids make black paper hearts, now? If they are not Wednesday Addams? Or-- if you were on Family Feud, the top answers for that question would be red and...black?? They are both 22, though so that might account for it.
Valentine's Day is actually my favorite holiday because of the red and the pink. I give out little Hello Kitty candy bags with pink and red hershey kisses and pink and red m & m's... No black!

We made a ton of Valentines over the past week. In our house the hearts come in whatever colors are found in the construction paper pack: red, pink, black, white, blue, green, yellow, orange, even brown.
