The talk of Swayze reminds me of how hollow he looked the last time I saw a photo of him. Made me sad.
My dad died of pancreatic cancer. Well technically he died from the surgery to remove it. Part of me still feels like we were robbed of one last year but most of me feels like he would have rather gone as he did. He wouldn't have wanted to spend a long time dying.

Yeah my father's was undiagnosed until after his death so he spent a long time dying of it. He suffered a great deal, so your father may have been better off. Fucking Group Health.
I'm sorry it took your father too, Typo. Several of my friends fathers and grandfathers died of it as well. I tend to feel it personally when I hear someone has pancreatic cancer, which of course is irrational of me. But it's just such a cruel of a disease.
Ugh. I can't leave on that miserable note. Esp since I just finished making some waffle batter so it can sit until morning. Mmm. Waffles for breakfast. I like Sundays.
Waffles for breakfast are indeed good. So is homemade granola, which by coincidence I put up for tomorrow morning. I also have a package of frozen mangoes I need to figure out something fun to do with. (Fresh Mangoes, I'd just serve but with frozen I should probably find a recipe.)
