Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I am about to see Coraline. Why is it playing in so few theaters here?

ION, the warm weather has many Northwestern students wearing miniskirts for their Friday night hijinks.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I think they're trying to send as many prints of Coraline to 3-D theatres as possible. Do you not have many 3-D houses near you, tommyrot?

looking for cheap but awesome tile to do our backplash.

Don't forget to check the remainders/flawed section--if my HGTV watching is correct, you can get some real bargains back there!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Weekend plans?

Coraline!

Taking Mona to the dog park if it ever stops raining.

Finishing the book edits, finally.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

It appears we've only one theater showing Coraline in 3-D. I think I'll wait until next week to try to see it.

Otherwise, brunch on Sunday with the family, probably pick up comic pulls. Saturday will most likely be laundry day. Ugh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was gonna do laundry this evening, but it's raining and I have to cross a courtyard to get to the laundry room. You'd have to have seen my apartment building to know how lame an excuse that is.

Man, I'm disoriented this afternoon. Dilaudid airheadedness is just not wearing off.

The roads are so salty that driving home, I could taste it on my lips and every time I inhaled. Also had a detergenty taste. It's been so cold and dry since the last storm, the dust is just floating. Blerg.

Oh, and I'm also finally taking my cat into the vet's for a claw-trimming. It's been so cold here that I hated the idea of taking her outside, but it'll be in the low 50s tomorrow, so she's going in before my bookstore shift starts.

No more wincing when she kneads my belly--yay!
