Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I was gonna do laundry this evening, but it's raining and I have to cross a courtyard to get to the laundry room. You'd have to have seen my apartment building to know how lame an excuse that is.

Man, I'm disoriented this afternoon. Dilaudid airheadedness is just not wearing off.

The roads are so salty that driving home, I could taste it on my lips and every time I inhaled. Also had a detergenty taste. It's been so cold and dry since the last storm, the dust is just floating. Blerg.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Tonight, freaking out about the reduction in hours/pay I received this week.

ick, sorry to hear that , julliana

I might have to start getting cynical and pessimistic.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Oh, and I'm also finally taking my cat into the vet's for a claw-trimming. It's been so cold here that I hated the idea of taking her outside, but it'll be in the low 50s tomorrow, so she's going in before my bookstore shift starts.

No more wincing when she kneads my belly--yay!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just did my part for the economy, getting a hair cut and buying yet another of my favorite dress. Everything in the store was on sale, and she seemed really happy to see me... And I finished out the gift cert I got there last Christmas!

Other economic stimulus plans for the weekend include Target (returns, actually), a manicure, and probably a movie.

Haircut, buy an antenna, possible pedicure, catfood, laundry, possibly taxes.

Oh and wash my car. I often wait until the roads are a little less gross, but seriously, there is white crust in places. Parts are completely white. And my car is black. Opening and closing the door gets crap all over me.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I will be studying, studying, studying. Tom will take Marley to the vet (where he will hopefully also get his claws trimmed- man, his love *hurts*)

We might go to IKEA to scope out beds if I can get away from my learnings.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

On the post-Superbowl The Office, it didn't seem actually cold out, but the cars looked just right, all covered in salt and crap.
