Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This! The mega-sized sushi served at most mid-range NY places drives me crazy with its wrongness. Bigger is not always better!

Especially the enormous "special" rolls. That is not special -- it is just wrong!

I have De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, which just got diagnosed yesterday after a month+ of wrist pain. I am wearing one of these: [link]

Fun fun!

Fancy, Nora! ....I mean, at least a diagnosis and treatment is better than just continued suffering.

Very sorry to hear that Nora.

I wish smaller sushi also meant cheaper sushi. I like the little rolls better than the ones that fill my mouth to the point that it's difficult to chew, but if I'm getting 8 pieces of the latter for the same price as 8 of the former I'll live with looking like a chipmunk in public.

Yeah, I'm glad to have the brace, it's helping a lot already. And if I keep it immobilized for a couple weeks, it should start healing. I hope!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

And then he dragged his feet slowly to make tracks.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I have De Quervain's Tenosynovitis

I know it probably sucks, but something about the name of this is awesome. It's like you're afflicted with being a Musketeer.

Glad to hear it may not end up being a chronic condition.

Gives own knees, ankles and toes the stinkeye

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

first there was sushi then there was sashimi -- I usually get a mixture of both. Less rice. and now I want the tower of tuna sashimi ( I don't know what it is really called) from Straits cafe in Sf. Which I can't afford. but so good.....
