It looks like Obama had a nominee withdraw for tax reasons. Is there anybody who doesn't have tax issues?

Ooo! Not me not me!! Can I be nominated?!?! Can I? Can I? Please!?!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I pay my cleaning lady cash and don't do withholding for SS, unemployment or pay for worker's compensation insurance. I'd fail to survive congressional scrutiny.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Everybody likes to talk about clean coal, but I guess actually trying to do develop the technology is a waste. The project might just be rubbish though, it's hard to figure things out without more info.

Clean coal is a fallacy. I can pull out (read: bother my co-workers for) facts and figures and such, but when it comes right down to it, clean coal is still coal, and it's still polluting. Coal is not the way forward.

What's the tax threshhold for household workers?

I should probably be paying. However, I'd like it noted that M requested that I pay in cash and not report--she considers herself and independent contractor and wants to report her own income for tax purposes. Pretty sure she does this to keep her kids on Medicaid and I'm not one to question her needs.

Because we use a wildly overpriced cleaning service, I could survive congressional scrutiny. Yay?
