Apparently, some of my neighbors are watching the game and care about it.
My parents are so cute about their new cable (we've NEVER had cable) "It's so clear! No fuzz! There are a lot of stupid channels, though."
They've pretty much managed to tame the little tuxedo feral kitten currently residing in their bathroom. For those keeping track, this is the 3rd they've successfully caught & fixed. As of yesterday, they were worried she might not tame, but this morning she greeted them with a hiss and then came bounding up and climbed up mom's bathrobe and started purring and cuddling. Dad is taking her with him to work tomorrow to see if he can find another sucker. He'd taken Astra in one day last week, and that was how the department secretary fell in love with her.
They've got 2 more kittens, plus mom and Garfunkle, that they are still hoping to catch and fix.(Garfunkle's their "outdoor" cat: they feed him, he has a box to sleep in, he regularly hangs out on their porch furniture, yells at the door for treats....and they've never been able to touch him.) They don't think G. is actually the kittens' father, but he's always bringing other cats and kittens with him. For a battle-scarred tom, he really likes kittens and most other cats.
Yep. Never ordering flowers from Teleflora. Not that I ever have, but they just guaranteed I never will.
WRT to NFL, WTF is a "flat"?
Gah, David, that must be incredibly hard for everyone, especially the family.
ION, I feel like I'm having excellent timing here, as I've had the Super Bowl on for a total five minutes, and some were the National Anthem, and some were that impressive run.
It's wonderful that he was so loved and appreciated by the community
It was a massive turnout. He was only fifty, and he was involved with baseball, football, wrestling, karate and volunteering at the schools. Just a guy of inexhaustible good cheer and very generous with his time and energy.
ION: Wow! That's the most exciting play I've ever seen to end the first half of the Superbowl. I hope that pumps Bruce up.
I'm pretty sure my college roommate (Chip) is hoarse from shouting right now. In fact, I'm pretty sure he's at the game with his son.
Gah, David, that must be incredibly hard for everyone, especially the family.
The good part for his son, Alex, is that he's got lots of other parents that will be looking after him with all his various sports. But obviously it won't be the same for him at home.
Super Bowl - very exciting.
Accidental crotch shot of Bruuuuuuuuuce? HILARIOUS.
