I'm just trying to tell you that we have nothing in common besides both of us liking your penis.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

One of our clients was looking for LHC footage and now I have the LHC rap in my head.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Jessica, that's the one I've got! And that's a good price for it--I spent $750 on mine twelve months ago.

lisah, when you go to Orlando, if you get a chance and head over to Epcot, you can drink your way around the park.

so far we’ve heard about the Grand Marnier smoothie from France, the snakebite from England, the “Sultan’s Colada” from Morocco, the plum wine from Japan, several kinds of beer and a shandy.

I myself had some excellent white wines in the Germany section while being serenaded by our server singing German rap.

Ha - yeah, that's why we're going to the Brooklyn Junction one instead. 5 minutes away by Zipcar and unlike Atlantic Center doesn't totally suck in every way.

Coding and Sleeping

Samsungs are supposed to be nice.

Newegg has a slightly newer version at the same price (free shipping) if Target doesn't have it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What are people doing this weekend?

Having lunch with a friend tomorrow (maybe) and then driving up to Maine to help my brother and his wife (and some other siblings of mine) paint up their new addition on the house.

I really wanted to kick back and chill this weekend, but since they've already dubbed the current bedroom (soon to become a guest bedroom) "Frank's room", I feel a bit obligated. Oh well, in compensation, I took Monday as a personal day even though I'm getting back on Sunday.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'll be going out for a friend's birthday dinner tomorrow, and meeting some lovely people for brunch on Sunday. There may be some housework in there, too.

Punishingly Intricate

if you get a chance and head over to Epcot, you can drink your way around the park.

Maybe I'll do that after I get sagged and am waiting for my friends to finish!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds like an awesome trip, lisah!

I have dinner plans tonight, and then that's it. Maybe Target, maybe Costco, maybe not!

brillig

Anybody want to see the inside of a Mormon temple? At least a few rooms? There's a new one nearly finished near here, and there's always an open house where the plebians can get a look before they dedicate it.

It's a little less rococo than some I've seen, but I like rococo.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

DH leaves at 5:30 am tomorrow to go to the Detroit Auto Show for three days. In the afternoon I take the five-hour English CSET (which is useless for now, as it looks highly likely that they may not offer the program I want to enter) in the afternoon then go home and enter a coma. Sunday, house-cleaning, taking the dogs to the dog park and watching various saved movies on TiVo ("Pollyanna" here I come!).
