(I haven't been able to sleep more than 6 hours a night -- generally LESS -- for about 10 days now, WHICH HE KNOWS, and I'm about to go on a sleep-deprivation-induced rampage.)
Ah, yes. I remember these days. And it was exactly like that- could fall asleep just fine but slept very lightly and couldn't fall back asleep once awoken. What helped for me was taking the extended release flavor all at once first thing in the morning.

Yeah, I would absolutely be ready to kill someone after that long without enough sleep.
Now that I know I have this fever, I understand why I've felt so crappy for a week, but what I would really like is for it to GO AWAY. This weekend proved that taking a sick day wouldn't even help, so I'm soldiering through, but I'm just over it.
Huh. I find 6 hours of sleep pretty much suits me fine. I wish I could always GET 6 hours (4-5 is more my norm, even with the CPAP machine). Different metabolisms for different people, I guess.

I do take the extended-release as soon as I get up. I think it might be an issue with the pharmacokinetics of the generic version being CRAP. I'm probably going to have to ask my doctor to switch me to the brand version.

t gives Frank stink-eye
t which, in my sleep-deprived state, probably just looks like I'm dozing off

When I first switched to XL it was name brand, so you may be on to something there. I've had the generic for the last 6? months and things have been more or less the same as on the Wellbutrin brand though. But I think my system was much more used to things, I was on brand for over a year before then.
But I think my system was much more used to things,
I'm (unfortunately) really sensitive to drug weirdness, so I'm not surprised this is happening. Just frustrated and ready to take a Jim Morrison-level amount of narcotics just to help me sleep for more than 6 goddamn hours. In a row.
So Blago is going on The View today - should be entertaining. For those not following along at home, so far this weekend we've learned that: his arrest was just like the attacks on Pearl Harbor but he knows he can get through all this because Gandhi, King, and Mandela faced similar challenges and triumphed. Also, he had two lawyers, one being the guy who actually
got R. Kelly off
and one being Some Other Guy. Other Guy, who is apparently behind this "PR" blitz is also apparently the modern Clarence Darrow.
So R. Kelly guy has now quit, meaning that possibly the one person you
can't
compare Blagojevich to is O.J. Simpson, who at least had the sense not to piss all over F. Lee Bailey et al.
I'm remembering why I don't usually take cold medicine. I took a Tylenol Cold this morning to clear out my nose before getting on the subway (if my sinuses are too clogged I get motion sick going underground and on elevators) and I feel like my head is about to float away. I can't concentrate on anything and my eyes are having trouble focusing. (This is possibly why I have never done any illegal drugs. If fucking sudafed can make me feel this high, I fear the effects of anything stronger.)
