Punishingly Intricate

This weekend I am flying to Orlando to participate in the Disney Marathon. I say "participate" because I have in no way trained adequately for this thing. Which makes me disappointed in myself but it just wasn't a priority for me...and now it's happening and I'm just going to do as much as I can (walking mostly) and try to be okay with that. I could use some good vibes about it though.

After that I'm staying down there for mini-vacation with my two bestest friends and another good friend and her adorable boyfriend. I'm really excited about that part! And best friend's husband and twins are coming down Tuesday and I'm going to get to go to one of the parks with them. I've never been! FUN!

I just got off the phone with my boss, who said I could take off at 4:30. Due to the dentist appt., I didn't get in until 10:30, but I'm taking two hours of PTO so I don't have to stick around and possibly run into the snow we're supposed to get tonight.

This weekend will be laundry tonight, picking up the last of my computer accessories for my new laptop (wireless mouse and router) after working from 10-3 at the bookstore tomorrow, and then playing with my new electronic toys the rest of the weekend. I get to finally load my first mp3 player!!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Hey, it's Friday! What are people doing this weekend?

Tomorrow I'm taking a choo-choo to Washington DC! Plus I have a sleeper-car, so I can hide from the other passengers and charge my iPods....

One of our clients was looking for LHC footage and now I have the LHC rap in my head.

Jessica, that's the one I've got! And that's a good price for it--I spent $750 on mine twelve months ago.

lisah, when you go to Orlando, if you get a chance and head over to Epcot, you can drink your way around the park.

so far we’ve heard about the Grand Marnier smoothie from France, the snakebite from England, the “Sultan’s Colada” from Morocco, the plum wine from Japan, several kinds of beer and a shandy.

I myself had some excellent white wines in the Germany section while being serenaded by our server singing German rap.

Ha - yeah, that's why we're going to the Brooklyn Junction one instead. 5 minutes away by Zipcar and unlike Atlantic Center doesn't totally suck in every way.
