You're a total Doer, lisah. You can have a weekend off. I had last weekend off! I am just a lazy SOS. With a slight fever, but still.

That wears you down! Your body needs you to rest, clearly.
Thanks for all the suggestions earlier. I ended up doing a bit of what needed to be done in my life errand-wise and a bit of stuff to relax me and take the edge off. I could have used an hour more, but I am better than where I was.
I have just re-arranged mac's room at his request. We have managed to get almost all the stuff back in and we are losing a piece of furniture, so that is pretty much my declutter-ers dream.
I am a bit sickish with a cold and my plan this week is to go to bed 30 min after mac and get 7-8 hours sleep each night (7.5 is about my natural sleep time if I am fully rested and allowed to wake up unassisted). On days when he goes to bed on the early side of bedtime that will give me some morning alone time, on the days when he goes to bed on the late side of bedtime, I should still be rested enough and not be rushed in the morning. We'll see.
So this has to be my recovery weekend. That's okay, right?
You don't need permission but HELL YEAH!
Alibelle--how did the rest of the party go? I was fighting a migraine and it's a good thing I left when I did, since it got me as soon as I got home. Sorry I missed the awesome cake.
Aww! I'm sorry. It went pretty well. We finished bowling, cosmically, until the very last second when the lanes clicked off. But most of the food was eaten, everyone seemed to appreciate the cake, and they provided to-go boxes and strongly urged us to take leftovers. Then Natalie and I burst into tears in the parking lot saying good-bye, Courtney noted that she had no emotions, and Marsha was proud of her for that. But pretty much people seemed to be enjoying themselves, and leaving in dribs and drabs throughout the evening.
Incidentally, between the bowling and the FOUR COATS of paint, I may never use my right arm again. Is it fun being a lefty?
Just friended my most serious high school boyfriend. He has a 22-year-old girlfriend! WTF. I mean, he's 52.

Thanks! And WOOT on the running! I signed up for a 5K in March and think I may try to do it all running, no walking. I don't even really like running. I just love a challenge! ha!
It's much cooler being a lefty. BTW, Kati wants to join the fun committee!

I'm the same. I am NOT a runner. But my twin sister is and she's signed us up for a 5 mile run here in March. The run is sponsored by the local brewery so there will be free beer at the end. But I definitely want to try to run the whole thing so it's my big challenge. I'm going to do a 5K next month with DH, too.
My biggest surprise was how much the quality of music affects how I run. I redid my shuffle list with some really good alternative rock and it helps me set a pace. Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue is a GREAT song to run to.
Seriously, Scrappy. But I might be bitter cause my newsguy boyfriend is with a girl that *my* friends would make me feel like a perv for running with, and I'm a good bit younger than he is. But I guess somebody gets to chew the gum that comes with all those baseball cards.
