So this has to be my recovery weekend. That's okay, right?

Alibelle--how did the rest of the party go? I was fighting a migraine and it's a good thing I left when I did, since it got me as soon as I got home. Sorry I missed the awesome cake.
Aww! I'm sorry. It went pretty well. We finished bowling, cosmically, until the very last second when the lanes clicked off. But most of the food was eaten, everyone seemed to appreciate the cake, and they provided to-go boxes and strongly urged us to take leftovers. Then Natalie and I burst into tears in the parking lot saying good-bye, Courtney noted that she had no emotions, and Marsha was proud of her for that. But pretty much people seemed to be enjoying themselves, and leaving in dribs and drabs throughout the evening.
Incidentally, between the bowling and the FOUR COATS of paint, I may never use my right arm again. Is it fun being a lefty?
Just friended my most serious high school boyfriend. He has a 22-year-old girlfriend! WTF. I mean, he's 52.

Thanks! And WOOT on the running! I signed up for a 5K in March and think I may try to do it all running, no walking. I don't even really like running. I just love a challenge! ha!
It's much cooler being a lefty. BTW, Kati wants to join the fun committee!

I'm the same. I am NOT a runner. But my twin sister is and she's signed us up for a 5 mile run here in March. The run is sponsored by the local brewery so there will be free beer at the end. But I definitely want to try to run the whole thing so it's my big challenge. I'm going to do a 5K next month with DH, too.
My biggest surprise was how much the quality of music affects how I run. I redid my shuffle list with some really good alternative rock and it helps me set a pace. Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue is a GREAT song to run to.
Seriously, Scrappy. But I might be bitter cause my newsguy boyfriend is with a girl that *my* friends would make me feel like a perv for running with, and I'm a good bit younger than he is. But I guess somebody gets to chew the gum that comes with all those baseball cards.
Dag, scrappy. I have recently come around on 30 year age differences, but 22 is a little much. I think my minion is 24, and she's an idiot. I mean, age-appropriately so, but still. She's just barely an adult.
Allyson and Kristen, Mona is seriously adorable. You are lucky mommies and she's a lucky little puppers.
Scrappy, I feel a bit of a hypocrite for the way my eyebrows went up, but 30 years is a lot. Still, whatever floats yer boat I guess.
I went to my stretch class today and DH took the kids to the beach, then we all went to the farmers market together. I feel so LA. I went on to spoil the vibe a bit by daring the dreaded Costco, which was too crowded but everyone was super polite so it was okay.
I've been unbothered by high school people and strangers on FaceBook. But, I didn't really have any horrible high school people, lucky to say. They were all mostly... fine. I just jinxed myself, didn't I?
Man, Mona is a cutie head.

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
