I have to say, my grandmother is hilarious. Her 90th birthday was Friday, and she kept telling people not to do anything, but of course we've all ignored her. Her crew of volunteers from the hospital threw her a party, and everyone's been taking her out to dinner (our family party is next weekend). She said "I told them all not to do anything! But I'm loving every minute of it!" So that's good. BTW, I sent her the "grower's surprise" or whatever from ProFlowers (you don't know what you're going to get), and it was 3 dozen roses for $30, I think.

I just noticed an ad in a magazine for vegan cocktail franks, and I found out yesterday that Pillsbury crescent rolls are vegan, and now I really want pigs in blankets.
