got 3 pairs of shorts hemmed before mac got home. now he's home, we have had tears because a toy broke. a toy that is over a year old. not enough @@ in tehworld, but on the outside I am being supportive-mom (tm) and have already found what could serve as a replacement (of course this is not made anymore).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.
I have to say, my grandmother is hilarious. Her 90th birthday was Friday, and she kept telling people not to do anything, but of course we've all ignored her. Her crew of volunteers from the hospital threw her a party, and everyone's been taking her out to dinner (our family party is next weekend). She said "I told them all not to do anything! But I'm loving every minute of it!" So that's good. BTW, I sent her the "grower's surprise" or whatever from ProFlowers (you don't know what you're going to get), and it was 3 dozen roses for $30, I think.
