As you know, Bob, I love commas, but I say leave it out. You're trying to convey an emotion.
Just because it's common, it's still technically wrong to skip the comma.
Java, I went to the Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU, and for Uncle Walter, it was more than a brand. He met the students several times while I was in school there and once it was my pleasure...coolest person to ever tell me to speak up. I also got to ask Bill Moyers an incredibly stupid question the following year. But he was cool about it.
Now the word comma is losing all meaning or is at least starting to look really weird.
