"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, but the fact that everybody is doing it that way doesn't mean it's not wrong. Hee.

But maybe smaller, like bonny says?

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

As you know, Bob, I love commas, but I say leave it out. You're trying to convey an emotion.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Just because it's common, it's still technically wrong to skip the comma.

Always Anti-fascist!

Java, I went to the Cronkite School of Journalism at ASU, and for Uncle Walter, it was more than a brand. He met the students several times while I was in school there and once it was my pleasure...coolest person to ever tell me to speak up. I also got to ask Bill Moyers an incredibly stupid question the following year. But he was cool about it.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Now the word comma is losing all meaning or is at least starting to look really weird.

Do I need the bottom text at all? though I think it balances it out?

Compassionately intolerant

I think it would look just as good without the bottom text.

That said, something like Falcon Pride! would skirt the grammar conundrum.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe go entirely punctuationless?

Oh hey, think of it as going Falcon, not a command to the Falcons to go, then it doesn't need a comma. Go crazy, go condo, go Falcons!

Comma comma comma comma comma chameleon...

Because books.

That said, something like Falcon Pride! would skirt the grammar conundrum.

That's an idea!

Enh.

I've decided to leave it as Go Falcons! But now I do sort of want to make it like Forrest Gump (Go, Falcons, Go!) but I will avoid it.

Without the text looked wrong. Oh well.

I'm going to go eat a bowl of Rainier cherries (on sale for cheaper than usual) since they are one true cherry.
