Leif's feet used to be kinda, well, square. We had a real problem finding shoes that fit well and just had to try on lots of shoes. Fortunately, his feet have grown into normal proportions since then. I think little kid feet can be really tricky to fit.
I looked at funky sofa but I need something within the next week or two, so something in stock rather than custom. (Ideal conditions for buying a sofa, I know.)
I tend to sit in one spot on the sofa, and that that spot now seems to be lower than the rest of the sofa.
Oh, that's frustrating, Tom. Do you remember the style you bought?
Funky Sofa has in-stock stuff, Bon. They're in LA, so the delivery is cheaper and faster.

My favorites:
- There are more than 10,000 cities in the United States and because of George Bush every single one of them, except for New Orleans, is still largely intact.
- Because of easy credit during the Bush years, more people had the opportunity to buy the homes of their dreams and live in them for a few years before they had to give them back.
- He was able to stave off defeat in Iraq and at the same time keep just enough troops in Afghanistan to prevent the Taliban from completely retaking the entire country.
- For the last five years not a single undercover CIA agent has been outted.
With the talk of the invocation yesterday, I thought this was interesting: [link] It's a list of who said prayers at each Presidential inauguration. It looks like the tradition from Truman through Nixon, revived for Reagan's second inauguration, was to have five or six prayers -- generally one Catholic, one Jewish, one some sort of Protestant, one Greek Orthodox, and one or two more.
Aw, juliana, thanks, but I'm much more tempted to beg to come along with you! I'm so sorry about the Death Flu.
