I skipped the clafouti and made this summer vegetable gratin for dinner tonight. [link] Le nom. I happened to flip on an ATK rerun from the Tivo while waiting for Leverage to start and this was one of the dishes they made. Definitely a keeper.
Though, seriously, ATK? 6 tablespoons of olive oil for a couple of pounds of zucchini? I used about half of that and it was more than enough. (I also cut the cheese way back, though that was due to unanticipated mold issues.)
Totally delicious. I may now have to go eat the rest of it.
Tequila sounds like a good plan.
The couple in Florida were parents to 17 children, 13 adopted and four biological. Nine of them were at home when they were murdered. Most of the adopted children were special needs kids. Horrible.
Leverage: Blah. Wasted half the show on reintroducing the characters and premise. Then there were too many characters for bad guys so it was unduly confusing. Still pretty.
eta missing word
Whoah, I had not heard about the Florida couple--why on earth would a conspiracy of eight people murder them?? And why do it while there are that many kids in the house?? WTF?
Are you going to change your tag to "JE SUIS SANDIP"?
If my life suddenly turns into a Bollywood movie while you're vacationing in dirndl country, I'm blaming you.
Laura, we also discuss Leverage in the Cable Drama thread if you'd care to swing by.

Hey, she'll be here in a few weeks. Convenient!
Thanks, Vortex. I forgot about that thread.
Shrift, is there something that your parents forgot to tell you...?
Sometimes we talk about Leverage here too.
