Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I want to have coffee with Liese's parents. Mmm.

Speaking of coffee, I should go to Peets on my way to pick up Franny and get some for the house, plus that complimentary cup they like to give me.

Mr. Shaw had bragged to friends that he was responsible for the bombing, Mr. Kelly said, and had started an underground fight club modeled on the one in the 1999 film, which was directed by David Fincher and starred Brad Pitt and Edward Norton and was based on a novel by Chuck Palahniuk.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

The first picture is incredibly cute, and has this caption:

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yay, shuttle.

Yeah, I guess it's a thing my grandfather used to do. It's a good time to sit and reconnect in the middle of the day. They have the good Kona coffee and a bite of something sweet. Today it was the awesome sugar cream pie the neighbor brought, so it was made of win.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Just bought a DVD/VCR combo. (The one we had mysteriously died after being moved up one flight of stairs)

Laundry is up to dry. Shoes exchanged. Library card renewed. I have a meeting in Santa Monica tonight for summer school. Good times?

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

I just had the most awful commuting experience on the bus.

About 5 minutes before my stop, a guy shoves his way to the back as if he's getting off (I'm sitting right behind the back door exit) but proceeds to starting begging for money (just $2 short for a burrito). Fine. I haven't seen much of that here, but I'm used to that from Paris. But then he starts individually asking people. He gets out of the way of people getting off without saying anything, but is tapping others to get their attention, parting shoulders, etc. This continues until my stop. Everybody is ignoring him, but he's standing right next to me, so I'm waiting for the inevitable. Nothing. Great!

I get up to get off, but he's in my way so I say excuse me multiple times, but he doesn't move and I can't get out. He then turns around and starts yelling at me not to press up against him, calling me bitch, among other things, then gets off before me, but keeps yelling at me. Not fun.

If ING is FDIC-insured, you should be good.

Re CDs at ING: I don't think CDs are FDIC insured at any bank, are they?
