"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Dang, people. I go by my middle name to avoid confusion with my dad, and we have a 33 year age difference.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Our middle names are Fay and Kay. But at least it's not Mark squared.

Watching the All Star game and crocheting flowers for a project. I swear, I'm 80 years old and don't know it.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Punishingly Intricate

We had twins in my high school named Mark and ...Mark. But they went by their middle names. I still wonder WTF on that one.

Not twins but I have two aunts, sisters, whose first names are Mary. We kidded my grandmom about that a lot. But, you know, Irish Catholic and named after the BVM! One goes by her first and nickname for middle name (Jo) or just Jo. Other dropped her first name and has always gone by nickname for middle name (Beth).

What is even happening?

NILLY! Lovely, lovely news. Thank goodness for people on Facebook congratulating you all around, or I might have missed it. Blessings on you both.

Can you tell us anything about your boy?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Just in case Nilly doesn't come by and Nilly herself (she's been kind of skip-n-skimmy lately; apparently there's, like, stuff happening in her life or something), here's what she said this morning. Also, there may still be a link to a picture of him hiding somewhere in Beep Me a couple of weeks back.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have a friend whose middle name is his brother's first name and his father's first name, which is either megalomania or a severe lack of imagination--not sure which.

Okay, help. We are driving from San Francisco back to LA. We have a one night reservation in San Francisco at a hotel in Union Square. Then we have a sunday night with no reservations yet. Then two nights outside of Santa Barbara at a resort. So for the Sunday, I need to find a good kind friendly hotel. And we should probably stay somewhere between Carmel and Cambria. Any suggestions?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

You'll all be pleased to hear that I talked to my mother tonight. She is leaving for Europe in the morning, and she's packing capri pants.
