Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Wow, I can't believe I got good 401k news today... like mine rebounded about 1/3 of the ground it previously lost in this latest quarter. Did we have a big stock market recovery and no news outlets covered it?

Ours regained a third, too.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Huh. We're showing gains for the year. That's new.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The markets went up a little today, but nothing crazy, as far as I know.

ION, aw -- remember that show Buffy?? [link]

In about 25 hours, my plane will be taking off for Kathmandu. Pray I don't kill my parents during 2 weeks together. I've been slowly mellowing, but 2 weeks.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

It's going to be amazing, sarameg. Just remember to go off on your own once in a while.

Basically, the market went up about 35% from mid-March to mid-June and no one reported it. It's gone down a bit this quarter (since June 30) though.

Coding and Sleeping

The speedometer on my Honda will stop working sometimes. It's annoying, but since it works most of the time I haven't worked up the enthusiasm to try to fix it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Car GPSs are really cheap these days, and I think they all can show your speed. I think there's more of a lag, as GPS maybe shows your average speed over a few seconds? but that might be a cheaper substitute to repairing the speedometer.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

sara, you will have a wonderful time! I can't wait to see your pictures.

I went to the Dentist for the first time in 6 years. It was a big giant mistake. I actually cried. Keep in mind, I went through a horrible preterm labor that had me screaming for meds and I never cried, or at least not from pain. But getting my teeth cleaned (and only half of them at that!) today and I was (1) in tears (2) contemplating biting the dental hygienist (3) literally sweating rivers down my legs and back (4) trying to crawl backwards out of the chair.

HATE DENTIST VISITS.
