Oh people with cold weather, please trade with me. We just wrapped up a "cool" week, for values of cool than mean highs in the upper 80s. Back to the 90s today and next week. Overnight lows around 70. I would revel in your 40 degrees. Also, we need rain.

Oh people with cold weather, please trade with me.

Yeah, those temperatures were sounding like heaven to me.

I have rain here, so maybe it's headed your way. The weather forecast was "slight chance of rain," so I spent some time watering. An hour later it started raining, it's been pouring for a couple of hours, and the county has a flash flood warning.

Because books.

Yeah, those temperatures were sounding like heaven to me.

Remember, we had 140 inches of snow this winter. A little summer would be welcome.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

OMG, I just had the best dinner with a work thing, at this barbecue place I would never have gone to, due to it being in Times Square.

Virgil's?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I almost punched my coworker in the face the other day when she was complaining about it being "chilly" on a day when we commuted to work in 68 and were expecting high of 75. Dude, that is room temperature on both ends! Who could complain about room temperature???

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Who could complain about room temperature???

Aliens? You know, the ones engineering global warming so Earth will be all comfy for them when they invade?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Crap, I should have known.

I'm not even saying it wasn't a good day to maybe wear a long-sleeve shirt, but seriously. At this point in the summer, it could be a million degrees and a zillion percent humidity, so no complaining when it's sunny and warm-not-hot.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What brand veggie sausage? The Tofurky brand is the best, I think, but I know other people who like Field Roast.

I got Morningstar because it was on sale and I usually like their stuff. I'll try the Tofurkey next.
