Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I thought eating squirrels was the new appreciating them?

Coding and Sleeping

I just remembered another good thing. Obama, unlike Bush, has not called for outlawing human-animal hybrids. Tonight, I am so starting to build my army of mansquirrels.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

FTR, anyone is welcome to come hang out with my cats for $10/hour.

self-righteousness powered Echo

I suppose the Fast and Furious movies have killed the ability to power my little Civic hatchback with self-righteousness. I don't have a coffee can sized exhaust or primer colored ground effect panels bolted on it though.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Tonight, I am so starting to build my army of mansquirrels.

I think the SciFi Channel is working on that movie, so you might have to pay royalties.

I am now afraid of Gud, for whomever is keeping track of these things.

Compassionately intolerant

According to D.C. officials, the jackhammering interrupted the landmark address on 30 separate occasions and came from the nearby U.S. Botanic Garden, where it was being used to break up pavement for a new Heroes of Horticulture exhibit.

O.M.G. That explains SO much. We kept thinking that we were about to have a jet fly-over, the sound was so huge through the speakers.

They couldn't do inside work on the big day?

Then again, the business as usual that brough mail to my door yesterday was pretty surprisingly cool. Though, considering how little actual motorized movement happened in my 'hood, it's a mystery as to how it actually happened.

SQUIRREL APPRECIATION DAY Is January 21: Are You Ready?

Hubby says properly prepared squirrel is delicious.

We were eating fried chicken Monday night, which I dislike because I hate maneuvering around all the bones and fat and tendons. Hubby said I'd do terribly living off squirrel. I said I wasn't that kind of Appalachian and my people stopped having to hunt squirrel for food generations ago.

With all the excitement and whatnot, you know what Natter has been missing? Funny cat videos! This one is especially funny: Subwoofer Cat

It's a cat, sitting on a subwoofer and licking itself, while the subwoofer rapidly bounces the kitty up and down....

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Shrift & Brenda, I should be able to be at Singha (sp?) around 6 or 6:15. Are we still a go? I have to be back at the theatre by 7:30.
