If they looked like Jessica Alba or Jensen Ackles, I'd be ALL FOR THAT.

(I mean, not that I want to live in the Dark Angel Dystopia or anything. I'm just saying, there'd be advantages.)

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Walk away from the fic, Plei, just walk away.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've decided that if nobody hears from my nephew by this evening, then I'm calling Social Services and asking them to go check on my great-niece. I want someone on the ground making sure she's not sleeping in a car or worse.

Is it evil to hope that this is where it goes? That I can get that child taken away from them at least temporarily?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Actually, that sounds quite sensible, Cash.

Echoing beth here, Cash.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

That sounds like the most sensible option to me, Cash.

Cash, in your shoes, that is what I'd do. You want what's best for her safety and health.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Excellent Plan, Cashmere.

My burning question of the day: How does someone get to be a senior patent litigation paralegal without knowing the difference between USPTO.gov and USPTO.com?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

USPTO.com is a private web site not affiliated with any governmental agency.

SEE!

Plus of course, we went through several rounds of "okay, go to USPTO.gov. Do you see the link for patents? No, okay, make sure you are on USPTO.gov. Do you see the link for patents? No, okay, are you on USPTO.gov?"
