I've decided that if nobody hears from my nephew by this evening, then I'm calling Social Services and asking them to go check on my great-niece. I want someone on the ground making sure she's not sleeping in a car or worse.
Is it evil to hope that this is where it goes? That I can get that child taken away from them at least temporarily?
