Also, Matt, any word on your dad after his tests yesterday? (I was reminded when I went into Beep Me to post just now)
Well, the liver scan came back with nothing horrifically wrong (the radiologist said he had a "fatty liver" but that seems not unusual for a elderly disabled man with a sweet tooth, and the guy didn't seem overly concerned). Next comes more bloodwork to see if his previous ultra-high result was some sort of anomaly. Fingers remain crossed.
I kind of like this painting of Sarah Palin: Alaskan Roulette
Note that Russian Roulette is played with a revolver, giving you a 1 in 6 chance of dying. Alaskan Roulette would then give you a 100% chance of dying.
Glad to hear your father's liver scan was fine, Matt.
Oh, and for Nora: You and Tom are going to Napa in October? There's an article on Napa restaurants in today's LAT.
(the radiologist said he had a "fatty liver"
so, he's good for paté?
(umm, that was supposed to be levity, not flippancy. Fingers still crossed for the Bruin Dad)
Crossing fingers for the further tests, Matt.
Wow, good memory Burrell! Thanks for the article.

Oh, good, Matt. Much anomoly~ma to you.
Okay, after my contract work dried up in March, I put some things I used for that job in a box. Now I have more work. Anyone know what box I put stuff in?
