Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Speaking of which, check out this cool alarm clock:

Alarm Clock Defuses a 'Bomb' Every Morning to Wake You Up

We've seen a lot of novel ways to wake up those of us reluctant to get out of bed in the morning. We've seen alarm clocks that annoy, soothe, and embarrass you to get moving, but we haven't seen anything that could induce the level of panic that would accompany having to defuse a bomb every morning.

The DangerBomb Alarm Clock startles you from your slumber with loud explosion sounds and forces you to "cut" (actually pull apart) a different colored wire every morning to "defuse" the bomb before it will stop going off.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I am supposed to be taking a half day, but my family that is here visiting did not get a very early start and it looks more likely that they will not be at the designated meet up spot until like 2 or 3. Do I take off at noon anyway and meet up with them whereever they are, or stay at work and save my half day?

I always think bomb makers should use the same color wires, just to be mean. I mean, you're already making a bomb, your anti-social cred is made. Go the rest of the way.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's more like an interjection. That is, you say it with excitement (or emotion)

Hey! Ow!

Time for a nutty Palin quote:

Sarah Palin and her defenders have cited numerous ethics complaints against the Alaska governor as a practical reason for her resignation. Fighting the claims, Palin told the Anchorage Daily News Monday, was immobilizing her: "I'm not going to let Alaskans go through a year of stymied, paralyzed administration and not getting anything done."

Naturally, skeptical observers have wondered how Palin would handle being president if some ethics complaints are enough to make her unable to run a state. Palin's answer: if she was president, the Department of Law would protect her.

Palin said there is a difference between the White House and what she has experienced in Alaska. If she were in the White House the "department of law" would protect her from baseless ethical allegations.

"I think on a national level your department of law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out," she said.

There is no Department of Law.

Bomb defusing manual writers should make sure that the words "But first," never appear appear in your instructions.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

There is no Department of Law.

There is no Miss Zarves.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Is it just me, or does the Fall 2009 TV Season look especially lame?

Last year I had shows I couldn't watch because I didn't have room on my DVR.

Over half the shows I'm watching in the fall are on Thursday.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Is it just me, or does the Fall 2009 TV Season look especially lame?

Well, it looks like I will be dropping Heroes, because it's up against HIMYM and House.
