Faith: A kid. Angel's got a kid. Wesley: Connor. Faith: A teenage kid born last year. Wesley: I told you, he grew up in a hell dimension. Faith: Right. And what, Cordelia spent her last summer as… Wesley: A divine being. Faith: Uh-huh. Can I just ask--What the hell are you people doing?

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Louis the swan in Trumpet of the Swan orders watercress sandwiches when he stays at the swanky hotel in (I think) Boston. He throws away the bread and eats the watercress.

For some reason I associate with Atlanta and that hotel where the ducks parade to the fountain? Or is that in Charlotte's Web?

You talking about the Peabody, bon? That's actually in Memphis, although there's one in Orlando now, too.

My brother once called me when he was at a conference there:"There are fucking DUCKS walking around!"

No ironing boards. Farmers' Market then wait for someone to pick up some boxes.

When I was at Florida State, the pep band went to Memphis for one of the basketball tournaments and we stayed at a hotel across the street from the Peabody, so we went and watched the ducks. Then went and had wings for dinner. The irony didn't escape us.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also, Make Way for Ducklings is the book with ducks walking around Bostong.

It seems to be a gorgeous day out! What to do, what to do....

Cherries and peaches. NOM. Plus there's a thai stand and I always treat myself to a thai iced tea as I walk around.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Had Thai food last night and ordered a Thai iced tea. Something about drinking a beverage that is "school bus orange" (as a friend in NC put it) and sweet as all get-out was what I needed.

I love summer because of all the fruit. We went to the farmers' market Wednesday, and I expected a bunch of fruit since it's July, but the only fruit to be had was peaches. Which -- I love peaches, so that's cool, but I was hoping for a multitude of berries.
