If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

And now that I've spent the last half hour scrolling back through, check out this gorgeously gothy cake: [link]

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I like watercress sandwiches.

Louis the swan in Trumpet of the Swan orders watercress sandwiches when he stays at the swanky hotel in (I think) Boston. He throws away the bread and eats the watercress.

(Someday I will appear on Jeopardy. Oh yes.)

Because books.

Tep! I just finished The Sweet Far Thing and SOBBED. I thought of you immediately!

God, that was good. Heartbreaking and perfect.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Of course, the big reason Palin resigned now (or announced it) is because Stewart and Colbert are off next week. EVERY politician saves their maximum crazy for those weeks. DAMMIT!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I have heard of watercress sandwiches but don't even know what watercress is.

Now tagless for your comfort.

We just got back from watching Patty Smyth and Scandal at our Riverfront Festival tonight. Good 80s tunes and lots of beer!

Tomorrow we have to walk in the 4th of July Parade--DH couldn't get any other volunteers so it's going to be just us--for one of the biggest employers in the town.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

For some reason I associate with Atlanta and that hotel where the ducks parade to the fountain? Or is that in Charlotte's Web?

“Not dead yet!”

For some reason I associate with Atlanta and that hotel where the ducks parade to the fountain?

You talking about the Peabody, bon? That's actually in Memphis, although there's one in Orlando now, too.

My brother once called me when he was at a conference there:"There are fucking DUCKS walking around!"

No ironing boards. Farmers' Market then wait for someone to pick up some boxes.
