It was, Narrator!
My problem with Shane was, yeah, fight the guy, but dude, even *I* know you're not going to get anywhere when his knife/blade is three times the size of yours. The only option there was ... well, none, that I could see, without a gun, unless he managed to get that big blade away from Wakefield.
Cal and Chloe made me so sad! I somehow missed him shooting the second time, so I didn't understand at first that he knew he was out of ammo. It was just sort of ridiculous that *everyone* fired at least two feet off. Aiming at his torso, with a shotgun, should have been a little easier, shouldn't it? Although I guess some of them had rifles. Hard to keep track.
Also, Chloe! Don't jump! I get true love, but come on. Also also? I don't really think that leap would have killed her. Unless landing that way was enough of a shock, but I sort of doubt it. Honestly, she might have jumped feet first and had a really good chance to get away.
In terms of Wakefield, aren't we assuming he was the one who shot Cal?
I don't want it to be Jimmy, either, because ... he's sort of hot. And as much fun as I've had with this show, given the remaining suspects available, I'm going to be a little disappointed to find out any of them are helping Wakefield, because I can't see any connections being huge with the sense-making.
Still, it's a fun ride. I'd definitely watch another limited-run series like this.
