Punishingly Intricate

But I have to tackle my postage stamp jungle and yank down a gutter and install the units this weekend. This requires cold dry air after. Please.

um...yeah, pretty sure that's not in the picture.

My house is great for holding the cool air. Of course most of it doesn't get direct sunlight. We did put the window unit in the bedroom last weekend though and I'm glad about that. But I don't really need one downstairs. Sometimes, in the depths of summer, you do just have to sit real still though.

Once more, I am reminded why I read my news.

Exactly. I have e/w orientation, so I get all the fun. I'll appreciate it in the winter.

I WILL get cool dry air, I'll just ask my stronger than me guy neighbor B to help me put in the 2 units and sit in front of them. He's offered frequently enough.

Oh & lisah, you and Bob need to come by sometime. Also? I want to talk to you about ohshit regarding the cats while I'm out of town. None of my other local friends are pet people the way you and I are (they get it, but are so much more cavalier with their pets stuff), so I might want to put you down as my ohshit person with Mt. Washington. They've told me that I can set up with a letter to do specific directives, but some of the funky stuff might need a person. (Yes, I am paranoid. MK is 16 and diabetic and showing his age this past year. He's still happy, just a lot more wobbly and ancient looking.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, I will. Even if it makes me cranky for being the wimpy girl because really, it is less that than never-had-window-units, trust-the-handsome-guy-who-has-and-is-handy, you independent idiot eta: than wimpy girl.
