All those endowments invested various place. Got the usual asking for money from my private college and they were all "We made cuts early! We moved our investments to more conservative funds But we need money!" (I only give to the physics dept directly because the bursar and financial aid office tried to screw me bigtime.)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just watched that Adam guy on Man vs. Food going on and on about this Indian restaurant having chicken fal that's the hottest curry in the country. Because 9 out of 10 people (Americans) who try can't finish the dish. @@

Did Thai restaurants stop serving curry and I somehow missed it?

I don't want to be at work in 9 hours.

Also, how much do I hate Diane Sawyer being relegated to the role of Wheel Of Fortune microphone girl? Kinda was not awesome.

Punishingly Intricate

But I have to tackle my postage stamp jungle and yank down a gutter and install the units this weekend. This requires cold dry air after. Please.

um...yeah, pretty sure that's not in the picture.

My house is great for holding the cool air. Of course most of it doesn't get direct sunlight. We did put the window unit in the bedroom last weekend though and I'm glad about that. But I don't really need one downstairs. Sometimes, in the depths of summer, you do just have to sit real still though.

Once more, I am reminded why I read my news.

Exactly. I have e/w orientation, so I get all the fun. I'll appreciate it in the winter.

I WILL get cool dry air, I'll just ask my stronger than me guy neighbor B to help me put in the 2 units and sit in front of them. He's offered frequently enough.
