Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I feel for Jon & Kate. They had eight kids and little income and I'm sure a reality show seemed like a great solution once upon a time.

Obviously things got out of hand, but that doesn't happen suddenly in one day.

Now I know this isn't probably how the logic of an affair works, but I always kinda think that if I had time away from the wife and kids why would I want to spend that with a girlfriend? That's relationship free time man, the last thing I would want to do is fill it with another relationship.

Oh, like Octomom and her reality show.

Hey, you know if everyone who needed extra income got a reality show, then that could take a real strain off the government.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I could have been on that new Arranged Marriage show.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I thought it would deal more with the day-to-day organization and logistics about having a large family

My impression from the mommy podcast I listen to is that it was more like that in the beginning, but got WAY out of hand once it became their primary source of income.

It seems to me that Kate, at least, also thrived on some of the fame, given the number of appearances and photo ops over the last few years.

What bothers me is that even though they're going on hiatus for a little while, they're still under contract for 40 more episodes. And now is really not the time to be filming these kids' lives, while their parents are separating. That's hard enough without a filmed record of it following them around forever.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What bothers me is that even though they're going on hiatus for a little while, they're still under contract for 40 more episodes.

I heard a day or two ago that the show was canceled. I forget where....
