Don't belong. Dangerous, like you. Can't be controlled. Can't be trusted. Everyone could just go on without me and not have to worry. People could be what they wanted to be. Could be with the people they wanted. Live simple. No secrets.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Today I get to leave work early to go to a wedding luncheon for a friend who is eloping today! This makes up for the fact that my MiL and her WAY annoying BFF were visiting this weekend and I was with them every minute. They had been on vacation for a week and were barely getting along with each other, so it was not a really happy environment. Plus the DH was preparing for a week-long trip, so he wasn't able to shoulder as much of the entertaining. So a weekend of annoying guests, and now a week without the DH. Eh, totally first world problems.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I am envisioning the cast of Hair descending to the protest area and filling it with hippy love music.

That would be brilliant!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They had been on vacation for a week and were barely getting along with each other,

I am increasingly scared about the 12-day trip I am planning to go on with my parents and people from their church.

Punishingly Intricate

Will there be opportunities for time apart? That seems key.

Because books.

Where are you going, Jesse?

Luckily, my parents and I (and my likely roommate) are in agreement on this point. Unclear whether the tour design will allow for much.

Amy, it's a trip around Turkey and Greece.

3 weeks with my parents. About a week of it in my house.

That sounds cool. I hope someday to travel to someplace further away than Canada (and that was a business trip).

Oh, fun. I'm tempted to break into song from Mamma Mia! now.
