Today I get to leave work early to go to a wedding luncheon for a friend who is eloping today! This makes up for the fact that my MiL and her WAY annoying BFF were visiting this weekend and I was with them every minute. They had been on vacation for a week and were barely getting along with each other, so it was not a really happy environment. Plus the DH was preparing for a week-long trip, so he wasn't able to shoulder as much of the entertaining. So a weekend of annoying guests, and now a week without the DH. Eh, totally first world problems.
Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.
