It's gray and raining and only about 60 here
Ditto, except 65.
Rainy Saturdays make for much family togetherness. A little too much, honestly.
Ditto again!
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

My sistah.
Hey, Kat, did you ever read The Thirteenth Tale ? I'm halfway through, and it's delicious.
Nope. But I've heard about it? The author and the bookseller, right? Is it in paper or hardback?
I just bought The Strain, which I'm taking with me on our trip to Ohio.
I read it! Good times. Kat, I think I have a paperback ARC if you want me to send it to you.
Jesse, of the Thirteenth Tale (in which case YES!)? Or of The Strain? (in which no thanks because I have the book already).
Nap time!
It's an author and the young woman she chooses as her biographer. Wasn't it fun, Jesse? So gothy and spooky and twisted.
It's out in paperback -- that's what I have.
Thirteenth Tale, yes. Would you send me your address to be sure I have the right one, and serve as reminder? Thx.
I'm thinking about making bread. Hmmm.
I was doing much cleaning but I have been thwarted by DW who is in such a bad mood I cannot make the noise that cleaning entails. Maybe tomorrow I can get it done.
I accidentally dropped one of those plastic thingies that close bags of bread into the garbage disposal. Should I try to figure out how to get it out, or will it be OK to just turn the disposal on and shred it up?
I would reach in and pull it out, but I imagine the disposal could manage it. It would be prudent to reach in only when the disposal is off, but you probably already thought of that.
