The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I went outside once today. That's enough, right?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not asking for 100, just a few successive days of high 70s and sunshine.

From your lips to the shiny sky-orb, wherever it may be,

I was all geared up for a bunch of shredding, but there's a paper jam in my shredder, and I can't get it out.

I could loan you Loki. He's currently rolling all over me.

Dita does fit newcat.

I need to get out of the house. Rain has finally let up.

information libertarian

We went to the Toyota dealership this morning. 2009 Priuses do not have adjustable (up/down) seats, but 2010 ones do. But the only 2010 they had has a moon roof, which loses you a couple of inches of head room. (Remember, mr. flea is 6'6" - head room is almost the most important thing we consider when buying a car.) The Camry hybrid is also lacking in the headroom. The Matrix (not available in hybrid) has a ton of headroom.

So, when they get a 2010 in without a moon roof, we'll go check it out. But probably not buy one for a year or two. The Matrix was nice, and we could get a used one very reasonably, but we really want a hybrid.

The dealer guy's daughter just graduated and is going to UGA in the fall and he was so proud. I was very happy for him (& her).

Because books.

Rainy Saturdays make for much family togetherness. A little too much, honestly.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

This is brilliant, and will be my last post about the weather until it is nice again: [link]

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I just watched the final ep of Pushing Daisies. Love! That was a hell of a supporting cast. The flyover shot of all the various featured locations was beautiful and the ending narration brought a little tear to my eye. I'm really going to miss that show. I hope the comics get into the story of Ned's dad . That story seemed to be building and then disappeared with the cancellation news.

Ditto, except 65.

Ditto again!

My sistah.

Hey, Kat, did you ever read The Thirteenth Tale ? I'm halfway through, and it's delicious.

Nope. But I've heard about it? The author and the bookseller, right? Is it in paper or hardback?

I just bought The Strain, which I'm taking with me on our trip to Ohio.
