Minimum class size for next year is 27 kids, I think. So I can't split 50 into two 25s, because then the classes are too small to remain open.
I did give summer reading which might cull the herd (4 books of the Bible, Illiad and Odyssey, Origin of Species and 2 other books of their choice). I think the rule will be that if you don't complete summer work, you get kicked out of the class.
Yeah, I was going to do some walking around this morning, but NSM with all the rain. Can't even get to Barnes & Noble at Lincoln Center without potentially drowning.

Yeah, quickie overnight visit-- Got in yesterday morning, was in meetings all day until nearly ten at night and I'm flying out at noon, so that's why I didn't say anything. I seriously have to make a plan to visit NYC with just the express purpose of visiting NYistas with a side of visiting publishers and agent.
Rain should be gone in 2-3 hours, hopefully in time for lunch.
Me, I'm at home today, supposed doing my laundry and packing for the F2F.

I have an actual raincoat, but with carrying bags, I also had to use an umbrella today.
Of course today is the day I have an lunchtime appt far from the office.
